I thought the idea behind the rose colored glasses was to prevent them from pecking at other chickens (you can't see blood very well if everything is red), not prevent aggression towards humans??

Well for me,
I was cleaning off pasty butt from a close to egg laying age chick even though my friend was there.
She asked what it was.
But before i could answer, she said that it was probably egg bound.
I said it was just pasty butt, but since the chick's vent was ed with poop smeared, dried, and struggling to get out she thought it was egg bound??
I have no idea, she doesn't keep chickens but heard about it lol.
