Second thread I’ve made, with all the symptoms:
8 month old silkie cross hen, never laid an egg
Yellow, almost white diahrea (but no other poo)
Sat down, not really moving
Head tucked in, won’t eat
Usually is loud, making no sound
Her vent is pulsating

I'm not sure, following your post as my hen had similar symptoms yesterday. She was fine Saturday then yesterday afternoon she was a bit hunched over in the nesting box around noon, I brought her in and soaked her in an Epsom salt bath and got her dried off and placed her in a quiet room in the house. She was not egg bound. She passed away within 2 hours of coming inside. I hope you have better luck than we did. ❤

Here are two good articles to read in regards to being egg bound. If egg bound the egg is typically within the last 2 inches of their system, closest to the vent/exit, so it can be felt with a finger. If you do an internal exam, you will know for sure if your hen is egg bound. There are instructions in the article.

Here is a link to the chicken poop chart. This has great photos that can help you identify a host of other problems that chickens can have including coccidiosis.

I’ve put her in a warm bath for 20 minutes, and she’s in a crate with lots of blankets now. I’ll see what happens tomorrow.
