Egg hatching question

Hi Everybody,
The second grade teacher at my sons school is looking for fertile eggs. I have never hatched before but I'm pretty sure the eggs are fertile as I have 1 roo for 8 girls and he's constantly going at it

if you know what I mean. I've been looking at the eggs before I cook with them and there is a tiny white dot on all the eggs I've cracked. Does that mean they are fertile or do all eggs have the white dot? Jen
