Egg mystery - no colored eggs from WTB or olive egger?

I am trying to solve an egg color mystery. I have a variety of brown egg layers in my flock of 7, but I also have what I think is some kind of Welsummer cross from an “assorted green layers” bin at a local feed store and a Whiting’s true blue from Murray McMurray hatchery. Both birds are in the attached photo.

Here’s the mystery…I have no blue or green eggs and they’ve been laying since the beginning/middle of September.

I’ve attached photos of a strange type of egg I keep getting that I think might be from the supposed “green layer” Welsummer cross. The eggs appear to have a heavy bloom and speckles that look purple until they’re washed. No blue eggs from my WTB at all though…any idea why genetically a bird that is supposed to breed and lay true for blue eggs would lay brown instead?

IF that's a picture of the OE, looks to have a "tuff" on the top of it's head. I don't recall them having "tuffs". I got an EE from TSC that has a tuff making it look like a Legbar, lays brown egg.

Picture of the eggs do look like a Welsummer, so probably your mix.

Are you sure that the WTB is laying? Have you done a vent check? The face of the white bird, that pale are would be red if it were laying. I've had WTBs, eggs are blue, while the WTG is green or can be brown.

Is the picture of the birds recent? The egg shown looks similar to a welsummer eggs, so probably from the cross. How old is the olive egger?
It’s from earlier in summer. Bird in the back is the supposed green or olive Egger who is a Welsummer cross of some kind. I think she’s got the speckled eggs.

The white one is a Whiting True Blue who isn’t laying blue eggs.
