I release chicks no earlier than 4 weeks old to confirm health and no leg issues. Chicks are DNA sexed to confirm the sex of the birds you will be receiving.
Adult birds are here on premises. They are a wonderful group, super friendly with kids and other pets. You are welcome to come meet the mob!
$25 nonrefundable deposit holds you a chick with $200 due at pickup.

Baby emus needs specific care and flooring to prevent health issues and splay leg. You will be sold a healthy baby with no deformations or splay leg. Once you take your chick home from our facility, it is up to you to make sure that he/she/they is/are kept on appropriate flooring like carpet or dirt to prevent leg slipping that causes issues such as splay leg, which can be fatal if not corrected!
Birds should be vaccinated twice yearly for WEE & EEE.
I stand by my stock and my clients. Your babies are important to me and as such, I will always be here for you should you need help with anything from diet to vaccinations or fixing splay leg.
I do not sell single emu. Emu, especially babies, need companionship, and it is hard to spend every waking hour with a single bird. For this reason, birds are sold in pairs unless you already have a single, lonely emu.
Growing baby emu need plenty of space to run and play to help their legs grow strong! You will need a pen approximately 20' x40' to raise your babies. As adults, emus should have a pen no smaller than 2 acres so they have room to run and play.
I like to know my emu babies will end up in forever homes who will love and adore them as much as I do! If you have concerns about whether an emu is right for you, I'm happy to speak with you in further detail to help you make your decision.
