LF is large fowl like HC explained. It's the correct terminology when referring to a large breed versus a bantam breed. Although, you will hear the word standard used instead. This is incorrect as standard refers to the Standard of Perfection, set forth by whatever governing poultry society (UK, APA, ABA, etc.) has declared.
