Still freaking hot but getting days with much less humidity occasionally. Had a bantam pullet that wanted to be a mom at 5 months old. >.<

It’s okay. Mine aren’t exactly “perfect” either but I’m doing my best. Also, I ended up with two surprise cockerels! Late blooming Ameraucana in Lavender and Black. The lavender has better feather quality than the current male I have so might be selling Indy at some point. Not sure Ill keep the black either.
Damn. That’s kind of nuts…I wonder what she was thinking?Still freaking hot but getting days with much less humidity occasionally. Had a bantam pullet that wanted to be a mom at 5 months old. >.<
I just hatched 9 a week ago (birthday eggs) white and chocolate, and dahlia has decided to go broody again, still debating that situationI am officially done hatching eggs for the season since it’s starting to cool off here.
How’s everyone else doing?
Not usually. None of mine have floppy combs. They’re all straight. On male English Orpingtons should the comb not flop over? Or is that ok?
That's going to make my decision on witch of the 3 cockerels I have from Cackle Ill be keeping then. Two of them the combs are flopping over in the back end of the comb. Not usually. None of mine have floppy combs. They’re all straight.
