Fantastic Frizzles! Frizzle owners/lovers unite!

I got my first frizzle! Here's Twiggy (on the left, obviously):

She's a chocolate (I think) Polish. I adopted her because she has a slipped tendon that couldn't be fixed. She's a friend for Myrtle (on the right) who is partially blind. They are my special needs chickens who will be housed separately from my big flock.

My frizzle EE, Winnie. She is top hen in the flock and a complete goober. My Buff Orp is sitting on two Winnie eggs that are set to hatch 6/11. Fingers crossed that my very first hatch goes well - and for more frizzle babies!!

My frizzle appears to be a roo…to breed or no? We have various breed hens, only two supposedly her same breed but could be sisters.

Don't breed frizzles to frizzles, otherwise you'll get frazzles with fragile feathers. You can breed him to smooth featgered hens that aren't his siblings.

I have 14 out of 18 shipped eggs to hatch middle this week and hoping ONE will be a frizzle!!! Super excited!

We don’t have any other frizzles, so no worries there. But can I mix barred rock, golden star, or easter egger with this black australorp (? What he is supposed to be) frizzle rooster?

You can! You will get some very fun frizzled babies! He also doesn’t really look like an Australorp! Clean legs? I’ve never seen a frizzled Australorp but I suppose it is feasible haha!
