After a couple of years reading posts/threads on here from Google'ing a question about chickens(now ducks), I decided to join. I want to be able to interact some now, so here I am 
lol.
I have had chickens for 2 years now. My numbers have varied(I grow out chicks for my dad too) but Currently I have 2 roosters. Mufasa, my light brahma & Rock-A-Doodle, my buff orpington. I have 12 girls, I call my laying hens my "girls", some pure & some bym. I also have 33 chicks ranging from 2 weeks - 2.5 months. BYM, EE, Sapphire Splash, Blue Cochin Maran, Prarie Blue Bell, & just add Crested Cream Legbar pullets. 17 pullets & 5 cocks so far, still waiting to see on 11 but liking the numbers so far

Also recently got 2 Pekin ducks(5w old now) for my son who is almost 6yrs, he has been into them over a year now. I have another son who is 4.5yrs old & 2 daughters, almost 17yrs old, and 1 who just turned 21yrs old. With my husband, we live on 1acre(hope to get more land one day).
