I have an Easter Egger Hen
Black and Gorgeous, I’ve had her since she hatched and now she’s about 7 months old
she laid her first egg about 4 day’s ago and hasn’t laid one since, she is kept on high protein diet, basically gets fresh food every morning till night, she is kept in the garage since Canada is cold during this winter, she has her own heater, she has her lights on 24/7, so what could possibly be happening?
is it the winter when it comes to this type of breed?

It's not uncommon for new layers to lay sporadically, so I would definitely just be patient. You mentioned the lights in the coop are on 24/7, what color is the light?

I’ve kept a white light bulb,
Ok! I'm not certain, but that could be your problem. I know that when kept with a white light for extended periods of time (like 24/7) the hormone cycle of the chicken can get a bit messed up. This can cause a variety of symptoms and can be a major cause of pecking between flockmates, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is throwing off her egg laying as well. Chickens like to sleep in the dark :) I would try leaving her light on for just an hour after dark each day and then turning it off, that should be all she needs to keep on laying normally. And even so, she may not even need any supplemental light if she has access to the outdoors. My chickens have been laying nicely with the increasing daylight. I hope this helps!

It’s really cold in Canada right now so it can’t be outside with the snow, I’m waiting until the weather gets better and see what happens once it goes out more
