About an hour before bed time I decided to let my chicks out for some free range time. I don't let them out unless I am sitting right there. They are 14 weeks old today and I finally got brave enough to let them run free. Everyone scratched and investigated and all but 2 of them went back into the run and into the coop to roost. The other 2 had wandered up to me and missed the bed time parade, I had to show them how to get back. But I think if I would have left them go they would have found their way. Suppose to be nice here tomorrow again I think I will try it again. Thanks to learning how to do things right from the people of BYC, it was a stress free event!
