Everyone this hen who drives me up the wall did it. She has at least 2 but I think several more. I can hear those sweet little peeps when I step out onto the back porch. I honestly thought that with the bone chilling cold she was wasting her time, but not my Momma Hen. Now I'm really nervous, how am I going to get this group safely off the hill and across the creek.

Oh my goodness! She did it!! That is one determined hen. The chick is as cute as can be!! After all that hard work and cold she endured, I hope every chick makes it, she sure earned it.

I just got home from town, and “wow” was my little feathered buddy angry with me! I had let the chooks out, and he stopped and stared at me and yelled out something (in rooster) I couldn’t understand. Gezz he’s tough!
