Is anyone in the SE North Carolina area in need of a rooster?
We ended up with 4 roosters and now only have 5 hens, so we need to find a home for three of them. We raised them from a couple of days old, bought locally and they've been fed an all organic diet from Reedy Fork Farm. They currently free range on our property during the day.
They are 16 weeks old and non aggressive from what we can see so far. One is a white and grey Easter Egger, one is a blend of black australorp, blue sapphire and plymouth rock. Third is a Barred Rock. They are gorgeous birds and we hate to part with them, but they will have to be dinner if nobody takes them. The Easter Egger would be great for breeding, the rust/black/green blend is unbelievable gorgeous in person and so is the barred rock.
