I’m always wondering how obvious my flock is with breeds and genders- genders are very obvious on my two adult roos but not so much on my young roo.
Anyone want to guess which is what gender and breed for fun? There are a couple young barnyard mixes but most of them are “pure bred” (I don’t know what to call mixes like Easter egger or black sex link)
The darker skinned ones (black roo and grey/orange chick) are a newer breed in the making called Alaska ninja chickens. They're on their 8th generation so the two I have will produce 9th generation next year if I breed them together
