Wind was bad and lots of rain. No damage thankfully here.
My FIL's wood working shop did not fair so well. So glad it didn't hit the house.

Yes, it howled loudly just like a hurricane!
It cold air had been in place, it would have been a blizzard.

The shop is insured thankfully. They still don't know how much is damaged inside. He has a lot of tools. He is 85 yrs old and so upset. MIL is 80 and just came home from the hospital.
Just not a good situation. Of course we will do what we can to help them.

Thanks for asking. We had very strong wind here in Wilmington. The gust was almost 80 mph around 8pm. Everything was fine though.

Glad you both made it through physically o.k. and no one was hurt, but how sad about the shop having a tree fall on it.

Just an FYI: the clinic didn't spay the feral I'd trapped, as she had already been spayed at some point! She had a tattoo on her abdomen. No microchip.

I hate that she's been traumatized for nothing, and she's scared of me, now. :(

She'll come around I'm sure, it will just take some time.
It's good that she was already spayed though.
