So unusual, my birds lay great. I get an egg a day almost always from them, each. I have 8 birds (mix of breeds). The last 3 days I've been getting 9 eggs a day. How are they managing this? The eggs are are similar colors so I can't tell them apart very well generally. Shells are nice and hard, yolks are large and dark.

These are ducks btw. Didn't know where else to ask though!

Is there a possibility that you’re seeing an overlap? Like, maybe 1 egg is from the evening of the night before? And maybe that happened 3 days in a row? I don’t know, that’s all I can think of...
That's what I thought must have happened but for 3 days in a row...I don't know! We get the eggs around noon each day.

What breeds?
Age in months?
All eggs have good hard shells?
They are all 8-11 months. They are actually ducks (I know this is a chicken forum but didn't know where else to ask)
Shells are nice and thick/strong. Yolks are dark yellow/orange and large.
Breeds are blue swedish, muscovy, khaki campbell.

Are any of them new to laying? Sometimes new layers will lay 2 in a day while they are still figuring things out.
