Okay guys, my daughter’s preschool teacher tried (and failed) to hatch eggs for her class and in a panic bought four chicks from Tractor Supply… with no plan for caring for them afterwards. Being the softie that I am, I volunteered to take them. According to her, she purchased two Golden sexlink poulets and two Welbar poulets. None of the four look like Welbar, and I’m pretty skeptical that any of them are even poulets. Did she somehow buy four golden sexlink roosters? Here are pictures for reference. She bought them four weeks ago, not knowing their exact age. I’m guessing they’re 5-6 weeks old now given how they look. Thoughts? Is it possible they’re just really light poulets? 😬🤞🏼. Thanks!

I think Easter Eggers as well.
Easter eggers are mixed and come in many different colors

I dont see any cockerel signs yet

Pea/modified pea combs, slight cheek puffs and green legs are all signs of ee.
Thanks everyone! That makes me feel a little bit better. I wasn’t particularly excited about butchering four cockerels… And I’m all about a colorful egg basket; though if they do end up to be EEs, I’ll be a bit heavy on the blue/green side unless I’m lucky and we get a pink or something. Anyway, I’ll be happy regardless as long as they all turn out to be poulets!
