wow, I bet they cost a lot to feed.

depends on the cost of hay. Last fall thru now about 44 bales as 3 burned up and I think Mike said we have 3 left and some loose stuff. That was 2800 for 50 plus 2 bales.

Saw a guy in a truck with a "Lab puppies for sale" sign near WM tonight, stopped to look. Claimed they were "purebred, registered Dudley Red Fox Yellow Labs." Ten weeks old. I asked what he meant by Dudley and he said they had rare pink noses (I knew they were pink noses, just wondered how he would sell it). And ten weeks old? No way. These pups were no bigger than what I would expect of three week old Lab pups, MAYBE. Their ears were long, almost hound looking, and set too high on their heads. Domed skulls. Snipey muzzles. I don't know what they were, but if there was any Lab in them, it was long ago and far away. Shook my head, said no thank you and left.
