(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have just been raising 5 lovely ladies for the last month, they are almost ready to leave the brooder.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 teenage chickens

(3) What breeds do you have?
Red Ancona, Buff Orpington, Silver pencilled Wyandotte, Gold laced Wyandotte and Barred Plymouth Rock

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Saw it mentioned in a chicken book

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Quilting, cooking

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live in Sydney Australia, am a health professional and have a husband, 3 grown up kids and a dog. I have wanted chickens for the last two years as pets first and for eggs second.
