Greetings from the Left Coast!

These are some of my birds.
By the way, many years ago I raised "Easter Egg Chickens". I learned a lot from them and I still call them Easter Egg Chickens, not "Easter Eggers", "Americanas", "Ameraucanas", "EEs" or such. There was no specific type, nor color variety. Some had beards, some had tails, some were large, some were small, some had pea combs, some had crests, some had multiple spurs, some even had ear tufts AND beards; the list goes on and on. To me, they were still Easter Egg Chickens, because they laid eggs in other colors than brown or white. Things have a way of evolving, but I still prefer the name, Easter Egg Chickens to any of the other references to these fun chickens. This foray began over fifty years ago. Just saying...
I do not raise Easter Egg Chickens anymore; I only raise Araucanas, the APA type.

Hi, again; I am new to this site and just getting used to posting photos. For some reason, the wonderful black chicken showed-up twice...sorry.
Hi! Welcome to BYC! :) Your birds are gorgeous!
They are gorgeous! Do you show?
Thank you! I only show my Araucanas. I've kept them for about fifty years.
