What method are you using to feed the Kaytee?I think the problem may be that his crop is full of air. What could've caused this and how do I fix it? It goes down a bit when I massage it but I'm not able to give a full "dose" of food into him.

Okay good, that is a safe way to do so, and most similar to how a parent feeds. Other methods you risk aspiration. I use a tube directly into the crop but that takes some practice.I'm using the syringe method. I cut the tip off a syringe and covered it with a glove finger.
I've made sure to tap any air bubbles out before feeding so I don't think that's the causeMaybe the air is accidentally entering the crop through the syringe? I’m not familiar with the consistency of the formula but maybe the syringe needs to be flicked to free the air bubbles.
