Hi,

Really struggling with peeling the fresh Hard Boiled Eggs. I've read much and tried all of the tricks, to no avail. I found this and was curious.
If anyone has one and whether or not they would recommend it?

We have one very similar. As soon as the eggs are done we dump them into a bowl of ice water, and wait a few minutes. Then just tap them on the counter enough to dent the shell, and peel it off. Usually the shell comes off in one big piece. This works with our fresh eggs. The blue ones seem to be thinner so the shell sometimes breaks into a few pieces instead of a big piece like with the thicker-shelled brown eggs.

GREAT!! Thank You! :thumbsup

Do you have a pressure cooker? I cook mine in an instapot (5 mins, then quick release steam, then drop into ice water). Peels so much easier. I have trouble with my EE eggs cracking in there, but all others cook perfect (even pullet eggs!).
