Hatch-Along-My first hatch!

I was in TSC today and bought an incubator on a whim. It is the still air incubator that was on sale. I understand that my hatch rate will be lower than of I used a forced air incubator, but I really don't need too many more chickens anyway I will be starting with 23,eggs. 9 bantam cochin, 11 polish and 3 suspected sebright/ polish crosses. I WILL BE UPDATING DAILY.

The eggs went in the incubator March 17, 2013 at 5:46pm!

Temp spiked to 103 today..I hope they are okay.

Hi! I bet they'll be fine. How long do you think they were at 103? It takes quit a while for the internal egg temp to jump up. If you're interested, a bunch if us set eggs the same day as you. I really don't know how long it was at 103... Maybe 10 hours while I wasn't home on the first day.. I'm going to continue the hatch and see if any hatch!
