Hello from California!

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum, and very new to raising chickens. We currently have a seven-week-old Japanese hen (okay, we don't really know if she's a hen, but we just keep saying hen, and praying that's what she is!), named Slink (my three-year-old came up with that), and next week we'll be getting three other seven-weekers, because Slink is a lonely chicky. Our new guys will be Bantams.

I am excited to start reading threads here, and overloading myself with information, lol!
