Greetings, we started our flock last year by hatching eggs for our daughter's kinder garden school project. this year we are helping our neighbor get their flock started. we have fallen in love with Orpingtons for their kid friendliness. we bought lavender orpington eggs off e-bay and had 10 out of 14 hatch, not bad for shipped eggs. we are also trying our hand at growing meat birds this year.
