1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I incubated 2 quails in 2019 for the first time. Now I’m back to it. I successfully hatched 7 quails so far out of 10 and I’m at the second batch it looks like 6 out of 7 will make it.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 chickens 6 living quails and 6 hatching quails at the moment.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Tractor supply (chickens) Japanese quails
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I find it rewarding and very entertaining to take care of my little birds. I love fresh eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Singing, gardening and spending time with my dogs/ children
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work as a childcare teacher, I have two boys, 3 dachshunds and now chickens and quails haha.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I knew about BYC in 2019. But finally joined the community now to better care of my birds
