(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hi guys! I got my chickens last September and it is my first flock!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I have 10 chickens but I'm hoping to add more! I have 9 hens and a rooster!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have lots of different breeds and they are cream leg bars, australorp, barred rock, Rhode Island Red, cinnamon queen and easter Eggers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love being able to get my own eggs and having fun little pets to hang out with!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have a horse that I ride and compete on and I also really enjoy fishing and hiking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 4 sisters and love English and literature. I have two yellow labs, three cats, a horse and a tortoise.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC through google and I wanted to join to be a part of the conversations!
