Ah the time has come for new chickens. My problem is I like too many breeds and can't decide. lol So I would like to turn to you guys for suggestions of breeds to consider. I am looking at bantam breeds only at the moment. I would prefer a breed that is a relatively good layer and preferably hens who will hatch their eggs. Being calm/docile/non-aggressive is a must. I haven't decided if I want to narrow my search to non-feather legged breeds because my Silkies are really bad about getting mud and poop in their foot feathering (yuck).
