Help?

Stridor may occur if they get a small piece of chicken feed or scratch stuck in the airway. It can clear up in a few hours or overnight. Sometimes it can happen with a respiratory infection if they have mucus plugs or swollen airways. The silkie in the video I posted cleared up because it was stuck feed.

Beside the honking noises, she seems fine. Cleaning herself, ate some scrambled eggs and lots of water. Comb is red…

Let us know if she has stopped it in the morning. Usually if it is temporary from food in the airway, they will be acting normally. Chickens with a respiratory disease will have watery eyes, shake their heads to loosen mucus, gasp, and may have sneezing, bubbles in an eye, a swollen eyelid, or rales.

That’s good to hear. Seems fine otherwise for sure. I will definitely keep you posted and thank you so much!!
