My hen hatched 7 chicks last night and pecked the eyes on 5 of them. She would have done more dammage but I caught her. She killed three, ate the eyes right out.
They were ice cold and I brought them inside to a brooder so 4 chicks are alive. 2 are bleeding and one eye looks like it will be dammaged for life. Not sure on the other chick. Is there something I could put on the eyes of a few hour old chicks to help? So Sad
