I am so glad to be here!
I was raised in Northern California and now live in Northen Nevada.
Growing up, my family had a small âhobby farmâ. We had summer & winter gardens, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, raised show goats, a Shetland Pony and a heifer and steer for meat. I loved every minute of it.
I just recently (3/9/24) purchased 11 Blue Jersey Giants hen chicks from CalRanch. One passed away and one turned out to be a rooster.
. I live in town and the rooster will become a problem so I will have to find a home for him.
I also purchased some Sebastopol hatching eggs and was successful in hatching 2 beautiful goslings. They will be two weeks tomorrow.
Having my flock has brought me so much joy. Being a steward to Godâs critters is my favorite thing in life.
I canât wait to get up in the morning & come home from work.
