Hi, I am new at Backyard Chickens

I am a new member.

Currently I do not have any chickens. I had some, but they were killed by something last year, and I am waiting it to warm up a bit before getting more.

I do have two geese.

I am from Portugal, and have come to BYC for advice a few times, but decided to actually join today.

Bienvenue,
I love geese, but keep my distance. My great grandparent's had a pair and they were definitely better guard dogs than the Alsatian’s she had. Or perhaps the Alsatian’s were just scared of the geese.
My friend in uk had one of her pair stolen and the other pined himself to death. So sad

Hello! What kind of chickens are you thinking of getting? I don't know what season you're in, but if you have a garage or shed with your brooder in it, I'd think it would be fine. I'm kind of new here too, but like reading the posts. Welcome!
