Milton, Florida
hi y'all, I'm Monique or Moni Moni. I live in Milton, Florida (humid as heck!!) I have a total of 26 chickens (I think..... Im gonna count then when I post all their names on here.) I fell in love with chickens when I was a Young preteen. I was at Wisconsin dells kiddie farm, when I talked my baby sister into hiding a baby chick in her pocket. We were almost back home in Minnesota when my daddy heard the cheeping.. We got caught, and had to bring it back to the farm. Now as an adult, I've been raising my emotional support chickens for four almost five years. I've had two critically endangered crevocours but a fox got them. This past year we have hatched 3 chicks on property, which I'm ecstatic about. As I've tried for years. So here we go in introducing my brood!!!
**note** most my names are food names, kind of ironic if you think about it!! And no we do not EAT our Lil fluffy babies!!
first we have my sweet, so so loving Dutch Boy my blue painted splash Silkie Roo. He's the one we have had the longest, he's 3 years old. We got him at two days old! Then there's my red Star, Daisy Lilly, my 3 Ameracuna Hens Nikki S.I.X.X (named after the lead singer from the group S.I.X.X Am) Houdini, and Ragamuffin, (which we named because when we got her she was just a Ragamuffin of feathers. When we got her, we were told she was the roos favorite hen and it showed!) Next, we have my Easter Egger Mix Roo(I think that's what he is, but still not sure) Friday Wednesday, my two Barred Rocks Elvis & Priscilla, my two RIR hens

Banana Pudding and Cherry Garcia,
My two Welsummer hens, Apple Pie strudel, and Bridget Marie, and her best friend my blue lace wyandotte Poppy Rose (those two, including Branch were named after the Trolls movie), my Ayam Cemani mix crew and their offspring
first and foremost my boy, Trouble Maker Pain In My Butt (which he was named That because he ran out of the coop when daddy was feeding him, as a very young chicken. All the way from the yard fence at the front yard that separates the front from the back, on the back yard side of three fence. To the very back of our house. Ran through the laundry room to go to my garage bedroom door. He peck on it so he could see me he wanted his mommy now!!. My fiance running costly behind him behind him! I opened the door, and said, what are you doing here? My fiance told me what he did.. I looked at him and said, you ARE a Trouble Maker Pain In My Butt!! And after that incident he became trouble maker pain in my butt!) Then his brothers first his floppy comb brother Grim Reaper, and the prettiest and sweetest of all my chickens, Prince Branch Gristle, next you have their sisters, Peppercorn Chip, Princess Sugar Cube(yes my black chicken is named sugar!) And Jade Onyx(her and Branch are inseparable!). Then we have the offspring. My best friend came up with this great idea to name all birds hatched on property Chicken as their first name, because all my animals have more then one name. I thought it was a brilliant idea! So when the first one hatched my fiance called her a lil Dumpling. So her name was Chicken Dumpling, she is Trouble Maker and Bridget's baby. A Welsummer Ayam Cemani mix. She is my BIGGEST hen out of all the ones I have!!! She's two times bigger then all her aunts, and almost as big as her daddy!!! When she hatched all the other eggs didn't and it was her mom's best friend Poppy who went broody and hatched her. Because there didn't make it, we adopted 3 chicks for siblings. My most gorgeous of ALL MY BIRDS my Bantam RIR Baby Girl (named him before he crowd) then my mommy's baby boy my Spanish white face black Twilight Midnight Onyx, and my beautiful Cochin Waddles Waffle Bar,( my fiance named her Waddles because when we were at TSC looking at the chicks. She was waddling to the food bowl, it was ADORABLE!! But I felt she needed more to her name. I kept saying Waffles instead of Waddles, so I decided to name her Waffle Bar, and that's how she got her name.)Then three months later Grim Reaper and Niki S.I.X.X had a baby roo we named Chicken Pot Pie who has a very interesting comb to say the lest. He is an Ameracuna Ayam Cemani mix. And lastly we have our pullets Icicle Frost(I told my fiance that the black steaks on her looked like dirty icicles, I use to live up north. So we named her Icicle, and icicles are frosty so that's how she got named Frost) my light Sussex and Ursla Seashell(and well Ursla got the second name Seashell, because when she stole Arials voice, she put it in a Seashell) my white Leghorn.
Then we have the last chick hatched on property. That we have no idea who the father or momma is!! Icicle hatched the chick, but she was sitting on her and Urslas eggs, and the daddy could be one of three roos. First Friday Wednesday, as he was the one in that coop, Trouble Maker, as both girls have snuck into that coop through a hole in the top of the fence on their coop side. Or Elvis my barred Rock as he was in their coop first! So this lil chick got named Chicken Tender because it's absolutely teenty tiny!! My brother wanted to name it chicken fry, my fiance wanted to name it chicken Alfredo, but it's just a lil Chicken Tender!! And that's my Chicken story and babies names. I counted it's 27 chickens we have, my bad lol I'm that crazy chicken momma
**last several pics are of my blue eyed Chicken Tender
