Hi new chicken owner and i am concerned. About worms and how to tell if its worms or something she ate.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

It can be difficult to judge chicken poop sometimes, yes it should be dry, good color and a white cap on top. However diet, heat, the weather in general, all sorts of things can effect what it looks like. The best way to test for worms is to take a sample to your vet. For a small fee they can test for worms.

Good luck and welcome to our community!
