How do I administer a penicillin shot to a chicken?

Wish I understood this sentence. What does "troublesome" mean, and also says has "high safety" at the same time in the same sentence?

Hi! This means with such a small amount, any little wiggle and you might not get the dose in. Since it is hard to give too much, it has a high safety margin, and it's easier to give a higher volume of fluid. Oh and the question about not using 'caine' means don't give a chicken something like Lidocaine, don't give the antibiotic ointment that includes pain relief.
