Today I got one, but it had been very cold, and some of my hens have just stopped all together. I’m very grateful for my faithful laying girls.

I had one that was broken in the pen so not sure how that happened. It is very cold with bad winds though so I can understand them not wanting to lay. It will be in the 40's in the middle of this week so it will be interesting to see if they start back up or not.

Yep!!! My girls are the best. Though Pinkie was eaten todayIt had been a long time since someone was eaten

That is sad. do you have them inside fencing?

They are very safe at night in their coop. I had them in electric netting until dog pocalyse. The dogs destroyed my electric fence and killed most of my ducks. Since I've been free ranging them a few hours a day. Today was not a good day, but coop life is not a good life either. I'm just doing the best I can.
