How many duck eggs did you get today?

My ducks are laying. Two for sure and maybe a third this morning. But if not predators it will be ducklings. They must be sharing a nest ...under the boat which is sitting on the ground.

Must have missed one of the young ducks eggs yesterday because there were 8 eggs. Also, one from the old ducks.

We had a hen go up under our spare goose house to nest, how she got under there is an amazing feat but what I am saying is whatever got her and killed her had to of been small but it killed her, so please don't let your ducks brood outside of the protection of their coop.

I am guessing a rat. I think they gave up the boat yesterday. Now the nest maybe under the propane tank. They did not go to their house last night. They are not getting over their nerves. I want to start over with new ducks.
They fully accept my terrier even when she ran into them and bowled over a couple. They in no wise held it against her. They greet her with raucous voice . She goes out and watches over them.

Thank goodness for the chickens at least a few of them have started back.

6 from the young flock and 1 from the old. I think the only older duck that is laying is one of those that we got from Magnolia Ducks.
