How many duck eggs did you get today?

Right? Same here. It's usually right there in top waiting for me, but it was also a colder night last night. They are smart lil critters.

They truly are and their natural instincts! My 2 eggs are right next to each other every morning. So planned, or someone is moving them together. I don't have a camera in the duck house, but the more and more we go along I want to add one. Just to watch their shenanigans...it's already entertaining to watch them in the yard lol

I got 2 yesterday and 2 today! Really thinking about adding a camera too... I can't handle their antics sometimes and I bet it would give a lot of insight.

Found it! But it was already frozen and split I feel so silly I didn't find it this morning, bc I saw it immediately upon re-opening the hut. :/

From 5 ducks, 4 eggs all sitting together in a little "nest" in the shavings (And one egg was still warm!). Been getting 4 eggs regularly since the end of Dec. Not sure who they're from though, out of two khakis, two cayugas, and one rouen, I'd guess it's the rouen who hasn't been laying?
Oh, and anyone know when cayugas start laying those black/gray eggs? I haven't gotten anything but off-white eggs so far.

2 from my 2 Calls and 1 from my 4 big girls, but only 3 of those 4 can lay, as the Welsh has hormone implants. (I also got another goose egg!)

I got 2 today, but 1 we can't eat because she's on meloxicam for a slight prolapse feels like such a waste but the vet said we have to wait 7 weeks post-meds to eat.
