I don’t expect many eggs from my girls now that most are 12 yrs and 7.5 yrs but today I got an egg from my 12 yr old Muscovy.

Wish mine would give me just a few more before winter, but neither of my two remaining domestics seem inclined to, nor do the scovies.

Now that I told the world how happy I was to get 7 several days in a row, it was immediately rewarded by 5 yesterday and 6 today.

Hows the weather? I have been seeing some parts of Texas on fire. How is that going hopefully under control by now?

Temps have been down to around 100-103 lately but going back up to 106 at the end of the week. There is a big fire about 50 miles east of us that has been going on for several days and should be contained today. We still need rain really bad. This was the first Labor day weekend I have been home and did not fire up the grill.
