We purchased 6 2-week old Peking ducks in early spring. Didn't know their sexes, so wife and I were anticipating being able to determine how many were females vs. drakes. We received our first egg in early September, so we were ecstatic to find out we had atleast 1 female. Then a week later, we started getting 2 a day, then 3 a day, and this morning got 4. I collect eggs first thing in the morning and check for any hiddens ones. With this said, is it safe to say that we might have atleast 4 females?

5! but one ran away! then there were 4!

Today was a super productive day:

- first I found 5 eggs in the duck house;

- then I found 5 more while cleaning out the house;

- and finally I received 1 more rewarded by the ducks for fresh straw as they were getting ready to go to sleep.
