Yeah, I am getting 6 females in the spring and butchering 2 of the males. From what I am reading, it is good to have a male in your duck flock!

I really like to have drakes ,most of the time I have 2 a Muscovy for my Muscovy females and a Runner for my Runners and Buffs but this past summer my Muscovy hatched 2 Runner drakes so now I am up to 4 drakes. My Muscovy has nothing to do with any of the ducks but his but I am in new water when it comes to having 3 Runner drakes. I have 14 females for them but It will take until hormones start surging for me to know if this is going to work or will it be drake jail. I just can't bear the thought of giving them up[I may change my mind if they get really carried away with the girls] but right now I feel I allowed them to come into this world so I want to give it a chance.
