2 today. That makes for 5 in the last 2 days, out of 6 birds. One is still not laying, but her comb is getting more pink/red every day.

I ate the last of the store bought eggs in stir fried rice. That hides the sub standard flavor of the eggs.

1 from our buff orpington. She decided to take her time today laying it. She was in the nesting box for almost 2 hours.

6, but one was a soft egg. Gonna buy a bag of layer tomorrow and switch up the grower with oyster shell for a bit.

I have styles of oyster feeders or stations whatever you want to call them .
Really old metal feeders 2 of them in the main coop.
Then I have plastic even peanut butter jars with a square cut out.
Fill oyster to the whole. So make it like halfway up the jar keep the lid so they cannot stand on it and crap in it.

Got five yesterday, one from everybody who's laying now, and three blue ones today. Don't worry, Wally, my Welsummer isn't laying blue eggs. My old hen decided to start laying again, and my dumb one finally started laying in a nesting box!!!! I don't think she was impressed with the amount of shavings in there previously, so I piled more in there, and she loves it now. Guess she's just spoiled.
