4 today, another jumbo from the easter egger.

3 today, Juin, Juillet and Août.

Mei tried her best. She sang egg songs for everyone, sat in the nest box for 45 minutes while the others foraged, and afterwards sang a triumphant egg song for herself, but… no Megg today.

Caught a picture of Août and Juin together in their favorite nest box. Nice to see they know how to share!

I only got one today and it was sooooo warm and sunny out. Gosh I hope those girls aren't hiding any really well and planning on becoming Mothers in the Spring. I don't need any ducklings other than the two little Calls I ordered that will come next month.

I got three barred rocks the first week in June. In December 2 of the 3 were laying. In January 1 of three, my best layer kept laying through winter. Finally this week my last layer finally laid, and got two the last two days. Hopefully the one who took winter break will start again soon.

9 today, a new record for our 12 ladies. We switched food this week from Purina to Kent Feed. Not sure if that has anything to do with this or not.
