how many snakes have you seen this summer?

Just one. A 4 foot long black snake. Ewwww!

Saw exactly one snake this year.

Bush hogging the field run, over it. A very large mud snake. Liked to give me a heart attack.

10. 3 were in my house! 6 foot rat snakes. Haven't seen one near or in the coop, though!

30 or more,mostly non-poisonous snakes.
Lots of rat snakes..

this one was 4 ft long

Water moccasin 4 ft long,came out in early spring this year

Another water moccasin from last year,one of my favorite pics,lol. Poor Polish roo was plum scared.

3 Mocassins, 9 Chicken snakes, 7 copper heads, and 8 differnt snakes ( not sure what kind) running from the tractor. These were found in the pond, in the barn, EATING MY DUCKLINGS, in the trees and on the back porch.

One---Which was this past Friday--

At 1am in the morning=the light on the electric fence was not glowing...and that means trouble---so with the fence check--the biggest Copperhead I have ever seen was found wrapped around the fence..frying!!

With that said-- I again am ever so thankful for the electric fence keeping all the fluffies inside safe!
