how to keep birds in from flying?

I want to put some sort of netting on top of my outdoor pen but I'm not sure what to use for it. My birds like to fly on the tree branches and escape. Any ideas? Pictures welcome!

My run is about 4 ft high. If you clip the feathers on one wing of each bird it will help.

Make sure there is no blood in the shaft of the feather before you clip or your bird may bleed to death.

On some birds you may even have to clip a few secondary flight feathers.

One wing throws the bird off balance and is more effective than trimming equal amounts off both wings.

The same wire you used for the fencing should do. I would especially put a top netting over it if you have Hawks in the area!

Something that will hold up to the snow load you have there....I use 14ga 2x4 wire but have to knock the snow of if it sticks.
