Or rather Bonjour à tous! I’ve got a small flock of spoiled hens in France and while I’ve been using BYC as a guide for years, this is my first time joining.
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Nope. I’ve had chickens off and on for decades but this is my first “family flock” as in “I am so attached to them, they are like my feathered family”.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Aracauna, Marans, Olive Egger F1, Speckled Sussex and a mystery hen.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The company. Expat life can be isolating at times. It’s nice to have a little low-stress distraction.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Eating French cheese, of course.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
2 horses and a husband. I work in the tourism industry and travel France for a living.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Internet search. Wow, for years now. Would love to have help from the BYC community to identify my new mystery hen!
