We got four TSC Easter Eggers, three are feathering out with very similar and uniform markings, and this one is patchy.
I keep hearing that could mean roo, but does it always?
I’ll keep him/her either way, but am aware that favorites often turn out to be cockerels lol so I’m preparing myself.

Patchy doesn't always mean male, it kinda of just depends on how it looks. I wouldn't be too worried about the patchy on your chick.
Going by the comb and rest of the coloring I'm thinking female.

What pretty chicks! EEs are so varied. It is difficult to tell yet. A roo will soon be getting saddle feathers, though.

Looks like a pullet to me at 4weeks, color is uniform and pattern is sharp, not rusty in color either, so pullet would be my guess.
