For feed in the rain, do you mean the chick feeder or storage? For chick feeders, ours are all in their coops. For storage, we have clear airtight containers that hold about 30#. We have cats that keep the mice away from the unopened bags.

As for ramps, hubby built ramps in our coop and lots of folks have ramps to get in their coops, but without a little more info like age of chicks and a photo of your setup, we can’t advise much further.
