I'm so old I Remember when:

Anyone else remember the hit tune "Hey Big Spender". May not be the actual title but that was the key to the song.
Oh, yes! From the musical "Sweet Charity", scene where the taxi dance girls are luring customers. I used to use that as an audition song back in my (Loooong ago) theatrical days. Got me a lot of parts in musicals, it's such fun to play with. "Hey, big spender! Spend...a little time with me!"

I remember Guy Lombardo and his Band?
My grandmothers' other fave besides Lawrence Welk! They also loved The King Family Singers; Mom used to joke that anyone who wanted to marry into that clan had to pass a singing audition first! 🤣

I remember Penny Candy machines giving handfuls of gumballs instead of just one.
I remember EVERY dry cleaners shop had a gumball machine! Nice cash sideline as mothers gave us coins to keep us busy while waiting to turn in/pick up Dad's suits at the cleaners.

I remember Miss Kitty....
I remember her, too, and she used to board her Hackney Pony at the Bob Lewis training stables in Porlota Valley, CA. I never met her, but I did get to see her pony being worked.

One ringy dingy... :love
You reminded me of the Coneheads!!! :lau I've just wasted a half hour of my life searching (to no avail) for my favorite SNL Conehead skit, where they toss rings onto each others' heads to have sex. Hilarious
