I was confused by why the SQUARE key was for the ignition for the engine, where there were round things, or some things went 'round, and the ROUND key was for the square-ish door.

I never thought of it this way, but you actually have a good point! I remember most of my cars over the years had one of each but at least they kept them the same for all cars to my knowledge.

Well on occasions this customer is right and always admitted when I have been wrong.
I suppose that's down to how you were brought up.

That's not right
IMHO. If people are arrogant or insulting towards polite shop staff they should be banned.
Same said for a doctors surgery or any public services
